WHAT IS AN ISCCF GROUP?

•It’s like a school club, with most activities running during the school’s lunch period.

•Students meeting students to know more about God.

WHY DO WE EXIST?

•Connecting generations- Psalm 145:4

•To make disciples of students Matthew 28:19-20

You are at a critical time of personal decision making in their lives. We want to help you work out what it means to belong to Jesus, to follow him where they are, to be supported and encouraged by peers and significant others.

BRIEF HISTORY

Inter-School InterVarsity Christian Fellowship was first introduced to St Vincent when a staff worker from Canada, Miss Cathy Nicoll, visited the island in 1953, leading to the first Secondary group being started by Grace Eustace.  IFES staff Richard Bell established another group seven years later. Although IFES founded the groups, the groups were more affiliated or controlled by Youth for Christ, as no one was on the ground to spearhead the work. As a result, Desmond Rogers, former Regional Secretary, visited SVG in December 2009 and established a national ISCF board. This is where the movement became more affiliated with Carifes and Ifes. With more structure, ISCCF SVG grew by establishing more clubs across the island. To date, the ministry has 24 clubs in secondary and tertiary institutions.
