You were made to be like Him!

Do you know that you mean a lot to God and that He created you to be like Him? You better believe it! When God made you, He wanted someone that whom He could have a relationship, like a Father has with a child. This is part of what makes you valuable. You mean a lot to God. That’s why when Adam and Eve sinned, Jesus came as the answer to give us a chance at this relationship again. 

Genesis 1:27– So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them”.  Don’t let past or present situations involving people who didn’t know your value cause you to believe that you are not important to God. Even if your mother and father leave you, God will never leave you because of His love for you. 

You are Valuable

You are valuable because God created you and because He created you for His purpose. Even in your mother’s womb, God knew you and loved you.

Psalm 139:13-16 Oh yes, you shaped me first inside, then out;
You formed me in my mother’s womb. I thank you, High God-you’re breathtaking!   Body and soul, I am marvellously made!  I worship in adoration—what a creation! You know me inside and out; you know every bone in my body; You know exactly how I was made, bit by bit,  how I was sculpted from nothing into something. Like an open book, you watched me grow from conception to birth; all the stages of my life were spread out before you. The days of my life were all prepared before I’d even lived one day.

Your identity in Christ is what makes you valuable

When you accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour, He gave you the grace to grow up to be like Him. As you spend time reading your Bible and praying, you will begin to learn about your new identity and begin to walk and talk like Jesus. 

Galatians 2:20 – I have been crucified with Christ, and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

Ephesians 2:10- For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

You are so valuable to God that He gave you a one-of-a-kind fingerprint. You are one of a kind, priceless and made in His image. 

No matter what happens, remember that your value is not determined by what people say but by what God says. You are valuable!
